The city of Münster once again proves to be more than just a friendly
Catholic one-horse town. Over the last decade, Till Kniola (known to
insiders as Zipo) has established one of the more important institutions in
Experimental Music, auf abwegen, as a split affair between Münster
and Cologne. As a mail order, label, and magazine, he is actively pushing
the music to where it hadn't gone before and a series of curated concerts is
regularly drawing quite sizable crowds. And he has only just announced a new
one: On May 13th, three top acts will hit the stage for an extraordinary
evening: First, there is "Tape activist and insect freak" Inox
Kaperll, charging ahead with a show of Electro-Beats, Improvisation and
Comedy-Trash. Incite (see picture), meanwhile, will try to make their
Apple-Notebooks speak in new tongues. And finally, the fantastic Vidna
Obmana will cool things down with the beatifully reduced sounds of his
Fear Falls Burning alter ego. For more Information, contact
