Vessels: New Album and Tour already scheduled

A mere month after returning from their “Übertour” through the UK, Post Rock band Vessels have already started recording new material. “We’ve finally got back into jamming some new ideas about down in our little basement”, the band reported, “Early days, yet, but it’s nice to go there knowing that we don’t have to play the same songs over and over.” Vessels also revealed that two of their members “have been working on an ambient piece as the soundtrack to an Art exhibition in Leeds @ Holy Trinity Church all this week. It’s a half-hour long journey through the seasons of a tree - Autumn through to Summer - and it’s been a good opportunity to utilise every synthesiser we could get our mitts on.” The October tour took the Quintet all around the UK including Scotland and included headlining gigs as well as double bills with popular underground acts such as Jacke-O MF and 20-minute micro-gigs. It also served to support their widely acclaimed debut album “White Fields and Open Devices”.
