Review/ Witchmaster: "Trucizna"

Witchmaster are one the bands represented on the “most wanted” list of the Polish Catholic Church. The formation are sporting a kind of cult status in Poland due to their outrageous and disturbing shows, their unholy musicians & as well for the history of their former members  (ex. Inferno from Behemoth).

The group was originally formed in 1996 by Reyash (bass/vocals who also plays Guitar for Incantation) and Kali (Guitar/Vocals). I am not surprised that a plethora of labels were falling over themselves in order to sign them; their brand new album “Trucizna” is now available on Agonia Records.

Wishmaster are playing a full-throttle, unholy trash black/death metal. The production initially does not seem particularly great, but this turns out to be a matter of conditioning: After a few spins, you will appreciate every second. Wishmaster are extreme, brutal and they can also be really thrashy. Pure brutality.
