Review/ Winterborn: "Farewell To Saints"

They forgot the main principle: Sometimes talent is not enough.

“Farewell To Saints” is a real Heavy/Power Metal album with Classic “Rock FM” elements.
Winterborn are adding nothing genuinely new but they are doing it really well even if the best guitars & vocals parts sound as though they might have been borrowed from a a Symphony X album.

There can be no doubt that all members are high talented musicians but sometimes it just is not enough. Winterborn are the kind of band eager to enjoy the success of Nightwish and forget the main principal, to play music foremost for themselves and not doing it for selling albums.
