That's what we call a modern idea in Classical music: Since only six
percent of Asian students applying for college-courses in Germany can
actually be rewarded, the "Franz List"-University has decided to open a
branch right on location. The "German School of Music Weimar" has
opened its doors in Seoul as an apparent joint-venture with the private
University Kangnam. Nothing's for free, so the German education
ministry has subsidised this exploration into foreign territory with
half a million EUROs. Courses will be given by German professors in
German leading to a Bachelor degree as a "Major in Music".
